How to package your rifle

Ensure your rifle is well protected when packaging and that it can not move about inside the box. We can not be held liable for any damaged items you post to us.

Inside the package we recommend.

  • Using bubble wrap, towels, news paper, sponge or old clothing (just make sure the rifle is well protected)

What we require with the rifle.

  • A note with your name, return address, telephone number and any notes you require for us.
  • Magazine or single shot loader/tray
  • Pellets (if you require tuning)
  • Sound Moderator / Silencer (if you require tuning)
  • Fully charged battery (for electric guns)

What we don't need.

  • Stock
  • Scope
  • Bipod
  • Any unnecessary accessories
  • DRAIN THE RIFLE SO THAT IT IS EMPTY OF AIR

The Exterior

Please ensure the exterior is wrapped with something plain so that there is no indication the contents contain a rifle (these are Parcel Force rules). You can post your rifle in its hard case but this must also be covered.

  • Use cardboard or strong bin bags/rubble sacks and plenty of tape to ensure it does not open.
  • Ensure you attach the postage label very well.
  • Write OUR & YOUR postage address on the package. Our address can be found at the bottom of this page.
  • Write DO NOT AIR UPLIFT, DO NOT LEAVE WITH NEIGHBOUR & FRAGILE on the box.

Postage Options

Getting it to us.

Getting your rifle to us couldn't be easier. Options are below.

  • Option 1, you pay Parcel Force 48 Hr service at a cost of approximately £15 (no extended insurance is provided with this service even if you do select it). This can be done online or at the post office.

  • Option 2, if the exterior parcel dimension is no greater than 61cm x 46cm x 46cm you can use Royal Mail. The minimum service allowed is 1st Class (we recommend Royal Mail Special Delivery which has insurance options).

  • Option 3, we can arrange Parcel Force 24hr collection service to collect from your home or a small business address (this is a must service for FAC rifles). Cost for this service each way is below. Payment will be taken via Bank Transfer, Over the phone card payment, Paypal or Payment link before we arrange this service.

Getting the rifle back to you.

Once the work on your rifle is complete we will get in touch with you and ask for a option you wish to use. Payment for the final service and delivery will be taken via either Bank Transfer, Over the phone card payment, Paypal or Payment Link.

Return postage options are.

  • Option 1, Parcel Force 48 Hr service at a cost of approximately £15 (no extended insurance is provided with this service). This is arranged by us.

  • Option 2, if the exterior parcel dimension is no greater than 61cm x 46cm x 46cm we can return via Royal Mail. The minimum service allowed is 1st Class (we recommend Royal Mail Special Delivery which has insurance options).
  • RMSD prices range from £18 - £32 with minimum £750 to maximum £2500 insurance.

  • Option 3, we can arrange Parcel Force 24hr delivery service to deliver to your home if the rifle is sub 12 ft lbs muzzle energy. Anything that is classed as FAC must be sent to your nearest RFD. Cost for this service each way is below.
